My only advice is to try and set this aside for now. We know you are in the right, that is clear as day. As someone said previously, her (no doubt lied to) freind was probably just sticking up for her for the heck of it. Everyone else as far as i can see are with you on this one. Don't worry about it.
Besides, there's a far more important thing to think about; you were born today! ^_^ (well actually you were born 24 years ago but you catch my drift XD. Have some fun!
