What program are you using? I find BitTorrent itself is really slow so I use uTorrent.

It could just be the torrents though. Some of mine download reeeally slow and others are just like ":D *minute man!*"

you should make sure that you have the port your torrent program uses open on your router....when I fixed that it sped my torrents up a LOT.
